The Thriving Minds After School programs of Ireland and Tatum Elementary Schools co-hosted a fantastic Art Gallery Night at Pleasant Grove Branch Library. See for yourself!
We will offer ADULT BASIC COMPUTER CLASSES, starting Feb 6th, 2010 at 10 a.m., every Saturday. The computer classes will focus on creating and sending emails, saving Word file documents and the basics of the library online catalog.
*The Thriving Minds After School programs at John Ireland and Tatum Elementary Schools presented a very successful ART GALLERY NIGHT AT PLEASANT GROVE BRABCH LIBRARY! GALLERY NIGHT took place Thursday, February 18th, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The art and decoration theme was VALENTINE'S DAY.
*JOBS! TEENS 14-17, Come to the library Tuesday, February 9th, 4 to 5:30 p.m., to find out the Youth Development Consortium can help you get employed. Mr. F. Eugene Mayo will provide FREE job guidance services weekly in Classroom 2.
*AARP and VITA will be offering TAX PREPARATION ASSISTANCE at Pleasant Grove Branch beginning in February and continuing through April 15th.
*Lilia Goldin will present the HISPANIC DRAWING WORKSHOP at Pleasant Grove Branch on Wednesday, February 24th, 4 to 5 p.m.
*Join the upcoming 2010 TEEN ACTIVITY at the Pleasant Grove Branch - Wii Game Fest April 3rd, 3 to 4 p.m.
*Ireland Elementary’s Art and Music Departments will present “AN EVENING WITH YOUNG ARTISTS” on Wednesday, March 24th, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in our auditorium. The event will feature music, food, and art related to spring. Spring art will be on display on and along the auditorium walls during the entire month of March.
